Fighting styles include Single Strike Style, which can be used to eliminate an opponent with a single hit, and Rapid Strike Style, which allows for unexpected attacks.
Every Pokémon can have a fighting style.
For example, Single Strike and Rapid Strike cards are available as Trainer and Energy cards, and players can create a Single Strike or Rapid Strike card.
This expansion already includes some Battle Style cards such as Single Strike Urshifu V, Rapid Strike Urshifu V, Single Strike Tyranitar V and Rapid Strike Empoleon V. Single Strike Urshifu VMAX and Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX are also available in their Gigantamax format, known as the Isle of Armor expansion for Pokémon sword and Pokémon shield.
The Pokémon TCG Sword & Shield Battle Styles expansion consists of 60 Battle Style cards, 12 Pokémon V and 16 Full-Art Pokémon V shells, 6 Pokémon VMAX models, 19 Trainer cards, 6 Full-Art support cards and 2 Special Energy Card.
